Did you know?
All us living within the Ashford Borough produce over 30,000 tonnes of waste, with nearly 90% of it being put in the ground in landfill sites. So go on - do your bit and recycle as much as you can!

Cut down wasting water.
Don't leave taps running when washing hands or brushing teeth.
Reduce the amount of water your toilet flushes by putting a brick or a  plastic bottle full of water into the cistern.
Collect rain water for plants & garden or use your bath water.

And finally...
George Bush
Thank you for putting all those peoples mind's at rest  who were flooded out throughout the world over the last 6 months, by assuring us it was just one of those things that happen for no reason and has nothing whatsoever to do with  any sort of global warming caused by the western world, especially America. And we're sure that the fact that the state of Texas was America's biggest polluter while you were in charge was also just one of those things and purely co-incidental.
