Farmers market details within Ashford and surrounding villages
For Business, for pleasure...for you.
The Ashford Farmers Market is held on the first Sunday of every month held in the
Lower High Street in the heart of the town.
A place where shoppers have the opportunity to both sample and pick up a diverse range of tasty treats from local traders, and watch chefs create delicious dishes using fresh produce straight from the market.
The market features different seasonal themes throughout the year, along with demonstrations and street food also available, ensuring there’s something different every time you visit.
Ashford Farmers’ Market is part of the council’s drive to increase footfall in the town centre, particularly on Sundays, and to support local businesses. It is funded through the town’s Portas Pilot budget.
Ashford’s Farmers’ Market manager, Rachel Heather, said: “We are giving local producers a stage on which to showcase their products to new shoppers. These events always have a great buzz about them too; they provide a unique shopping experience where you can sample goods, chat with the producers directly and enjoy the atmosphere."
