Shopping around Ashford, Kent
Ashford's
shopping experience isn't just restricted to the town centre.
Sprinkled around the edges of
the town are a number of little shopping paradises.
Bybrook
Barn:
Situated less than 1Km from the town centre and within easy
walking distance is one such place.
Cleverly disguised as an enormous garden centre once you step inside
you're met with a laberynth of
open plan pathways that conceal some fantastic mini stores, that are
both unique and individual, selling
a huge range of quality wares.
Sevington Business Park is home to
some of the larger outlets and Electrical stores such as Comet,
PC World, B and Q and Argos amongst others.
Orbital Park is the place to
head for if you're seeking a new car, as this is where you'll find
most of the
leading car manufacturers as well as the new Ashford
Market. Being one of Kent's biggest
agricultural
markets for livestock it also houses a number of shops and boutiques
and the traditional
Saturday Market and Sunday Boot Fair.
With play areas for children and a number of places to eat
it's well
worth a visit.
Evegate Barn:
Situated
about 3Km from the town on the A20,off of junction 10 of M20
motorway, towards Folkstone
hides one of
Ashford's most beautiful shopping delights.
Home to small stores, boutiques and restaurants,
it's almost a mini
village in itself. Combined with some magnificent walks to enjoy
while you are there
makes it a place well worth taking the time to
go to.
Tenterden:
The town of Tenterden, about 30 minutes away by car, along the A28
is a breath of fresh air when it
comes shopping. Granted, not a huge selection of shops but big on
beauty and quality.
