Around Ashford Ashford's shopping experience isn't just restricted to the town centre. Sprinkled around the edges of the town are a number of little shopping paradises. Bybrook Barn, situated less than 1Km from the town centre is one such place. Cleverly disguised as an enormous garden centre once you step inside you're met with a laberynth of open plan pathways that conceal some fantastic mini stores, that are both unique and individual, selling a huge range of quality wares. The Mcarthur Glen Designer Outlet is unmistakeable in its appearance on the Ashford skyline. A huge tented structure, easily accessable from junction 10 of the M20 or from the bright yellow busses that run every 8 minutes from the town centre. One of only six in the UK, this is where you'll find many of the leading designer stores discounting their products by upto 50% off normal retail prices. (The outlet is one of the features in our logo). Just slightly further afield from the town are a number of business parks. The Sevington Business Park is home to the larger DIY outlets and Electrical stores. Orbital Park is the place to head for if you're seeking a new car as this is where you'll find most of the leading car manufacturers as well as the new Ashford Market. As well as being one of Kent's biggest agricultural markets for livestock it also houses a number of shops and boutiques as well as the traditional Saturday Market and Sunday Boot Fair. With play areas for children and a number of places to eat it's well worth a visit. Situated
about 3Km from the town on the A20 towards Folkstone hides one of
Ashford's most beautiful shopping delights, Evegate Barn. Home to
stores, boutiques and restaurants, it's almost a mini village in itself.
Combined with some magnificent walks to enjoy while you are there makes
it a place well worth taking the time to go to. |
