Further Afield Due to its great location and transport links, if you're based in Ashford there are many of Kent's other shopping delights within easy reach, all less than 1 hour away. The picturesque town of Tenterden, about 15Km away, offers some wonderful shopping with a feel of stepping back in time. In the other direction lies the great Cathedral City of Canterbury again only about half an hour travelling time, whether by car, bus or train. Less than one away from Ashford is the huge Bluwater Complex, where you could easily spend the whole day wandering around the hundreds of stores housed within. Also about an hours travelling time you can discover the delights of Lakeside shopping centre. This can be found just the other side of The Dartford Crossing. There are many other shopping havens both locally or further afield that are just waiting for you to discover from Ashford. |
