As Ashford finally launches into becoming the vibrant, cafe society, alfresco eating place that most of us residents have longed for for years, the opening of NV in station approach directly opposite Ashford's domestic rail station is a valuable addition. NV's building was originally a wool warehouse from Ashford's historic past. The conversion into a chic venue for the more discerning business patron, restaurant goer and nightclubber has cost in excess of a million pounds. This kind of investment, especially from local entrepeneurs, only goes to emphasise the confidence in Ashford's growth. Phase one, the Bar and Restaurant area, has been open for several months now. With a mouth watering menu on offer, where everything is prepared using the freshest ingredients and cooked to order, the taste is more than equal to the beautiful surroundings. The second and final phase, the Nightclub, is due to open in June, 2001. This will be spread out on three floors above the Bar/Restaurant. Comprising of a main dancefloor, a 'chill out' floor with a central balcony and a VIP lounge - complete with sofa's and personal table service, NV will offer a complete evening out. We've also had a tip that something very special is planned for the opening! NV, as well as being
open to all, will also be offering two levels of membership. For an
annual fee members will be entitled to a number of special privileges.
